Hi Flower Friends!
I’m Landon AKA Lando. We’re a small, family-run flower farm built from a simple love of growing beautiful things. For the past 2 years, I’ve been growing flowers purely for the joy a fresh seasonal bouquet brings to my home filling a room with is colour and that unmistakeable summer scent.
At Lando’s Blooms, I believe flowers should be as good for the earth as they are for your soul. I’m committed to supporting the local ecosystem by using eco-friendly growing practices such as no pesticides, implementing no-till methods, and incorporating lots of native species into the mix. My goal is to create a thriving farm that supports pollinators and wildlife while also providing my community with thoughtfully grown, hand-picked bouquets.
From sweet peas, tulips, delphinium, and snapdragons in the spring, to specialty zinnias, cosmos, sunflowers, and dahlias in the summer, there’s always something in season. From June to October, Lando’s Blooms celebrates the best of what each moment in the growing season has to offer.
The story behind the Blooms
It all started in the summer of 2024 when I wanted to grow flowers for my own wedding. With the experience of growing some zinnias, dahlias, and a mix of perennials in the past, and with the help of my green thumb mom (aka Momma B), whose background working at a garden centre and as a florist provided invaluable assistance, we grew an abundance of flowers for my big day! Watching the flowers sprout, grow and come together in arrangements for my wedding felt incredibly special.
Somewhere between the sowing first seedlings in my basement and seeing my beautiful blooms scattered around the wedding reception made me obsessed with the idea of growing more flowers and trying more varieties. Over the past few summers I have been growing hand tied bouquets for friends and family and I am very excited to get to share the love of my blooms with y’all!
